Questions we hear often.

What is the Bora 32 Pro designed for?

Public and commercial charging: 32 A single-phase with RFID authorization, a 4G modem and a MID energy meter included.

What is a MID meter?

A meter certified under the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID). Charge point operators use it when the energy delivered is the basis for billing.

How is it different from the Bora 32?

Both deliver up to 32 A. The Bora 32 is aimed at homes and businesses; the Bora 32 Pro adds a MID meter, a 4G modem, RFID and load balancing as standard for public charging.

Which electric cars can I charge?

Bora chargers have a fixed 5 m Type 1 (J1772) cable. Vehicles with a Type 1 inlet connect directly, and we have adapters for vehicles with a Type 2 inlet. The actual charging power also depends on the on-board charger of the car.

Can it be installed outdoors?

Yes. The enclosure is IP55 rated for indoor and outdoor installation, ABS with UL94 V-0 flame rating, and operates from -15 °C to +70 °C.

How is charging authorized?

By app, RFID card or free charging. The charger connects through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for setup and control from a phone.

What is 6 mA DC leakage detection?

The charger has built-in detection of DC residual current of 6 mA, a protection function for AC EV charging. The electrician defines the rest of the protection in the electrical installation according to current regulations.

Is installation included in the price?

No. Published prices include VAT (IVA) but not installation. Installation depends on the site and must be done by a qualified electrician; we can share the technical information you need.
